Dhiffushi is the most eastern inhabited island of the Maldives & witnesses the sunrise first in the country. There are about six sandbanks at very close proximity to Dhiffushi along with some of the best snorkelling and diving sites in the Maldives.

CURRENT ENTRY & DEPARTURE REGULATIONS FOR DHIFFUSHI

All tourists whether vaccinated or not should hold a valid negative PCR test result with a sample taken at most 96 hours prior to embarkation at first port on route to Maldives. This requirement is not mandatory for children below the age of 1 (one) year.

All tourists should hold a negative PCR test result, of a test  taken within 72 hours of  checking-out of a guesthouse from any inhabited island.

MALDIVES BORDER MILES LOYALTY PROGAM

 

Maldives Border Miles is a three-tiered loyalty program focused on tourism promotion. Tourists enrolled to this program will earn points for each border crossing. Additional points are rewarded for the visits on special occasions. Once the tourist reaches to a tally of a specific amount of points, privileges are rewarded with amazing benefits. As they move up the tiers, Bronze, Silver then Gold, privileges are enhanced, and benefits are made exclusive.

Maldives Border Miles is a tourism promotion program initiated by Maldives Immigration and developed with joint stakeholders, Ministry of Tourism and Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC). More information on the Border Miles program can be found here.

If you are eligible for Maldives Border Miles, you can register and become a member of the program when you submit the Traveller Health Declaration (THD) here. THD is a mandatory requirement from all travellers travelling to and from Maldives
